My journey began when I decided there is too much to see in the U.S. and I wanted to see it.  Having G.I. issues, driving or flying wasn't the best option for me. A dear friend of mine has a motorhome and I joined her a couple of times camping (glamping if you prefer).  I was hooked.  A second home on wheels, where finding a rest stop would not be necessary. Nor would I have to worry about finding someone to take care of my 'child'. Destinations await.

I purchased a motorhome, 2018 Jayco Precept, in August of 2023.  Let the adventures begin. Now my fur-baby, Truvy, and I can hit the road and explore at our leisure. FYI, if you have a fur-baby, I coming to give them pets.  Truvy enjoys playing with others as well.

However, I needed to first concur the learning curves, first on driving, confidence, and then on maintenance & upkeep.

I came across the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) which is a place to learn about RVs in general and get hands-on experience.  They have a fundamentals course, which is a one week overview of the major appliances (A/Cs, Water heaters, Furnaces, Absorption Refrigerators).  It was during this week I became even more excited about RV living and helping others.  I tested to be a registered technician, then began my business in August 2024. Life events in 2025 allowed me to return to NRVTA and complete the additional 4 weeks of course work and earn my RV Tech certification.
